"We booked this resort through AAA and received an outstanding rate for the week between Christmas and New Years. If you've traveled to Orlando you know the variety of hotel and resorts is quite diverse, some good, some not. We were very pleasantly surprised with this resort. The service at the counter was excellent, the staff very accomodating, and the room was great! The place is located very well to everything including Disney and I4, that takes you to Universal. There is an outlet mall right next to the property, and a Wall Mart very close. The pool was great!! Excellent service, good food, and the kids really enjoyed the 'theme park' like ship in the middle of it.

Overall this was a great find, and we'll definitely be back."

"I would recommend this "hotel" to any of my friends and family. I say hotel losely as it is so much more than a hotel. It was like staying in a luxury apartment will all the ammenities of home. The rooms were spacious, comfortable with great furturie. The pool area and resteraunt was just what you need to be away from the heticness of Dinsey and great for the kids! It's location is wonderful and very easy to get to from all the themeparks."

"We had 5 in our party.Ages 13 to 46. The suite was large enough. It had all items we needed ie. dishes,appliances. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pool area was great for all ages. Next to a large outlet store mall which we shopped at.Super Walmart within walking distance for groceries. If you wanted to eat out the only close choice was a Pub in the complex which had good food. We just cooked in our duite..Used the free shuttle service to Disney World Parks."

Lake Buena Vista Resort has more honors to add to its list.

Awards were received from two of the top international travel and tour operators in the industry proving that the Resort can more than hold its own against the industry's top national brands. Virgin Holidays, the largest transatlantic tour operator for travel to the U.S. and Caribbean, presented the Lake Buena Vista Resort with a Silver Award in the "Best Family Hotel" category (second only to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas). TUI Travel PLC, a UK-based international leisure and travel company operating in 180 countries, awarded the Resort with the Gold Choice Award for "Best Four Star Property". The Resort was one of two properties to be chosen in the entire United States.
