The Lake Buena Vista Resort team was excited to learn that Merlin Entertainments Group would be building the world’s largest Legoland in Central Florida. The end of 2011 should see its completion. The park’s location is planned for the former site of Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven. This is great news as it brings new jobs to the area and an added boast to the economy. Since it is a short drive from the Lake Buena Vista Resort, this is just one more benefit of staying with us.

The Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores, located next door to the Resort, had a busy Martin Luther King weekend Sidewalk and Art Sale, January 15 - 18th. People enjoyed the outdoor Beer and Wine Garden, food, music, and crafts. Don’t forget the great discounts, too. Since this was so successful, there are plans to hold a similar event for the President’s Day weekend in February.
