Guests From Kentucky Made Us Blush!

Earlier this month, a young couple from Louisville, Kentucky visited our condo-hotel resort, and their TripAdvisor review is so positive, we just had to share. “Where to begin? My husband and I wanted to go to Disney and opted for this hotel over the Disney resort. I must say we got the better end of the deal. First, the location of the hotel was WONDERFUL FOR DISNEY! We were in the park and out within 10 minutes, never caught in traffic, and only one turn away from the main entrance. Our room was amazing, clean and had more room than we knew what to do with. Since these were set up like condos, they were very private. This also meant no maid service, coffee, etc. but well worth the price. We loved the fact that we were able to do laundry, cook, and relax in our room. Only downside was the internet was spotty so we had to use wired. WE WILL BE BACK AND HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THIS HOTEL TO FAMILY!”

SeaWorld Orlando Plans New Tourist Attraction

We just learned that SeaWorld Orlando’s Discovery Cove is planning to open a new 875,000-gallon saltwater reef next year that will allow guests to swim among the park’s sea life, including sharks, tropical fish, rays and eels.  Also planned is a new nature trail for guests to experience the reefs from above the water.  Check back here regularly for updates as more details become available.

“Family of 5 or more, this is the best hotel for you”

A family with young children from Tel Aviv, Israel visited our EB-5 Regional Center condo-hotel resort in Orlando, Florida and found our spacious accommodations were a perfect fit.  “If you are a family of five or more … it’s hard to find rooms close to Disney, in which the family can be together in comfort,” the family wrote on TripAdvisor. “This hotel [is] inexpensive, beautiful and about 15 minutes drive from Disney or Sea World, nice polite staff and family friendly. The Barbados room [was] beautiful, huge, and spacious and clean. If you like to cook and save, Wal-Mart is a 2 minute drive and the kitchen is well equipped. The [factory outlet stores are] within walking distance, inexpensive and we even got coupons from the hotel.”

UK ♥ Orlando: Largest country of origin for international visitors

Orlando, Florida was the most visited destination in the U.S. in 2009, hosting more than 46 million visitors, according to Orlando Business Journal.  It reported that travel research firm D.K. Shifflet & Associates found the largest number of international visitors came from Canada followed by the United Kingdom which represented 35 percent of all overseas visitors and remained Orlando’s largest overseas origin.

A vacationing family with teenagers from Hillsborough, New Jersey recently posted this review on TripAdvisor about our Orlando, Florida condo-hotel resort: “The resort has very spacious rooms.  We have stayed in the 2-bedroom and recently the 3-bedroom suites. They are clean, well laid out and we have a terrific view of the fireworks. The spa at the resort is one of the cleanest and offers many services at reasonable prices.”

Vacationing Hogwarts Fans: Mark Your Calendar for June 18

Study: Orlando International Airport Ranks 4th in Passenger Satisfaction

Good news for vacationing tourists, convention visitors, and foreign nationals traveling by air to our Lake Buena Vista Resort in Orlando, Florida.  Orlando International Airport placed fourth in the 2010 J.D. Power and Associates North American Airport Satisfaction Study for the large U.S. airport category (30 million or more passengers per year).  Overall customer satisfaction was measured based on airport accessibility, baggage claim, check-in/baggage check process, terminal facilities, security check, and food and retail services.  Orlando International scored 690 on a 1,000-point scale.

More “Top Destination” Honors For Orlando, Florida

Orlando, Florida ranks #4 on the list of top 10 destinations for U.S. travelers this year, according to Australia-based online hotel search engine Hotelscombined.com.  The report also compared average room rates for the top destinations.  Orlando had the best price on the list while Miami Beach had the highest average room rate.

Exciting news for our condo-hotel resort owners and EB-5 Visa Regional Center investors!  Walt Disney World is planning the largest expansion in its history, according to the Orlando Sentinel.  The Orlando, Florida theme park plans to nearly double the size of Fantasyland, including a new, lavish ride based on the Little Mermaid, said Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo.  Disney also plans to update Star Tours, the Star Wars-themed ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  Our condo-hotel resort – Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa – is located just one mile from the Walt Disney resort.  In fact, we are so close, you can view the theme park’s nightly fireworks show from our balconies.  Come see it for yourselves!
