July is a busy month at the Resort with lots of activities going on to entertain our many guests. Whether joining the Saturday morning aerobics by the pool or enjoying a relaxing spa service, the choice is yours.

This month, several family reunions were organized at the Resort. People from as far away as Arizona and Colorado gathered to enjoy time together at the Resort and area theme parks. They loved the spacious condos with full kitchen including washer/dryer and TVs in every bedroom. They took pleasure in lounging poolside at Pirate’s Plunge, dipping in a hot tub, sliding down the thrilling waterslide in the pirate ship, ordering lunch, or sipping a tropical drink at the Lani Luau tiki bar. Kids and adults alike took advantage of the numerous games and pool tables in the Game Room. Frankie Farrell’s Irish Pub & Grille was the perfect meeting and dining place with plenty of room for everyone. Reflections Spa-Salon was a relaxing alternative for many of the guests, too.

Not to be missed, the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores, just next door, have begun their Back-to-School specials and discounts throughout the outlet mall. Many of our guests took advantage of these great deals.

Why not plan now for your next meeting, reunion, or vacation at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa?

Click HereJuly 8, 2009 - Washington, DC - The Senate adopted an amendment sponsored by Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT.) to make permanent the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Regional Center pilot program. The amendment was added to the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act.

Earlier this year, Leahy secured a six-month extension of the successful EB-5 Regional Center pilot program in the Omnibus Appropriations Act. He has introduced legislation in previous Congresses to make the program permanent. Since it was first created in 1993, the pilot program has attracted millions of dollars in foreign investment in the United States, and created thousands of new domestic jobs. Unless Congress permanently extends the program, it will expire in September.

“I have fought for extensions of the program in the past, and have succeeded in keeping this valuable program alive,” said Leahy. “But this program must be made permanent if it is to achieve its potential as an economic engine in our communities. Before domestic and international entrepreneurs invest their dollars in EB-5 projects, they must have confidence that the program will exist in the future. Authorizing the program for only months or a few years at a time sends the wrong message to individuals who want to make a permanent commitment to the United States. I have always believed that this program should be a permanent part of our immigration system and I have confidence that it can play a significant role in our economic recovery.”

July 2, 2009 - Washington, DC - Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will commemorate America’s 233rd birthday by naturalizing more than 6,000 citizenship candidates in approximately 50 special ceremonies held across the United States and overseas. Five of these ceremonies are for members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
“There is no more important role we have as an agency than to welcome new citizens during naturalization ceremonies throughout the year,” said USCIS Acting Deputy Director Michael Aytes. “But on the Fourth of July, that role is even more profound as we proudly stand side-by-side with the newest Americans to celebrate our independence together as one family.”

North Carolina Family Highly Recommends Our Orlando Vacation Resort

July 24th, 2009 - “This condo is very spacious. With one 16 year old and four 15 year old girls, we had plenty of room. The balcony is HUGE!!!! You can also see the nightly fireworks at Disney from the balcony. The condo was very clean and convenient to area attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. We will definitely stay here the next time our family visits Orlando. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants luxury, but without the high price!!” Read More
